Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a financial services location
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and escalating concerns through the chain of command
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior
Control access to the location by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization as required, and reporting access issues per site procedures
Complete routine security-related reporting such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, communicating timely updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership
Qualification
Required
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Alarm panel experience is preferred
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
