Responsibilities
Manage the employee onboarding and offboarding process
Oversee all communication about employee benefits information both internally and with benefits organizations
Oversee annual review and selection process for employee benefit programs
Implement and guide the team through a company-wide employee performance review process, and oversee coaching conversations
Ensure that NOTUS continues to be compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws
Partner with the finance department on administration of payroll
Manage commission and bonus program requirements, coordinate with payroll implementation and team member communications
Qualification
Required
3-5+ years of experience in human resources or people management
Willingness to work a standard schedule in person at our offices in Rosslyn, VA
Ability to handle confidential information about salaries and other sensitive matters with maturity and discretion
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
Preferred
Experience working in fast-paced newsrooms is a strong plus
