Responsibilities
Leading research and analytic projects to inform the organization’s operations and mission
Covering a diverse set of research areas, including policy development, program evaluation, and health care cost/utilization trends
Working with healthcare claims data
Collaborating with both internal researchers and external vendors to ensure data quality in our claims data warehouse
Analyzing health care utilization, costs, and outcomes
Qualification
Required
Prior experience working with healthcare claims data. Experience with evaluating data quality and conducting program evaluations using claims data is particularly desirable
Prior experience with statistical and data analytics. Experience with program evaluation is particularly desirable
Ability to independently manage complex analytic projects in collaboration with external vendors
Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on presenting technical results clearly in both presentations and written memos
Knowledge of SQL and statistical coding programs, such as R, Stata, and Python
