Responsibilities
Lead the execution of sales plans to deliver revenue growth, increased market share, expanded distribution, and profitability
Own the annual sales planning and forecasting process, including customer strategies, promotional planning, and management of sales expenses and trade spend
Translate brand, marketing, and category strategies into clear, actionable customer and account plans
Provide day-to-day leadership of broker organizations and external sales partners, ensuring alignment, accountability, and strong in-market execution
Maintain senior-level involvement in key customer relationships, supporting negotiations, presentations, and strategic growth initiatives
Represent the company in senior customer meetings, major trade shows, and industry events
Oversee Trade Fund strategy and management, ensuring disciplined investment and strong return on spend
Track sales performance, promotional effectiveness, and market trends; identify risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions to the VP of Sales
Build and improve scalable sales processes, account administration standards, reporting, and tools
Deliver clear, concise performance reporting and insights to the VP of Sales and senior leadership
Monitor retailer trends, competitive activity, and industry developments; proactively share insights across the organization
Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to drive aligned execution
Lead, coach, and develop sales talent and broker partners to support a high-performance, growth-oriented culture
Support special sales initiatives and strategic projects as directed by the VP of Sales
Qualification
Required
8–10+ years of progressive sales experience within the consumer products industry, with a strong track record of driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and executing effective sales plans
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field required
Proven experience developing and executing annual sales plans, forecasting, trade promotions, and trade show participation
Demonstrated ability to analyze sales data, evaluate performance, and translate insights into action
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent the company at senior customer levels and lead teams and broker partners
Experience managing sales representatives and broker organizations to achieve sales and distribution objectives
Working knowledge of standard sales and presentation tools, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred
Experience working with major national retailers such as Walmart, Target, Walgreens, CVS, etc
