EPITEC is seeking a hands-on Engineering Technician to support the Accelerated Design Verification (ADV) team. This role focuses on assembling test rigs, performing mechanical and electrical test setups, monitoring equipment, and documenting results to support new product validation.

Responsibilities

Assemble test rigs using hand tools, power tools, and overhead cranes
Connect hydraulic plumbing and electrical control cables
Install instrumentation and support data acquisition setup
Monitor tests and make control adjustments as needed
Inspect and repair test specimens per test parameters
Document test activities, issues, and updates in the web‑based system
Maintain lab cleanliness and organization
Pick up parts and perform occasional errands
Communicate with design groups, test operators, and lab personnel

Qualification

Mechanical technician experienceElectrical technician experienceHydraulic systems experienceData acquisition familiarityBasic computer skillsAttention to detailWork independently

Required

Experience as an automotive, electrical, or mechanical technician
Comfortable using tools, machinery, and test equipment
Ability to read drawings, layouts, and follow detailed procedures
Ability to bend, kneel, work at floor level, and lift 25 lbs
Basic computer skills (Windows + Microsoft Office)
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Preferred

Mechanical teardown/repair background
Experience with hydraulic or servo‑hydraulic systems
Familiarity with data acquisition or instrumentation
Ability to document improvements and contribute to setup optimization
