Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior
Document observations, incidents, and activities as required by site policies and Allied Universal guidelines
Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations and/or directing foot traffic during incidents
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors
Qualification
Required
Vaccines required for hospital positions
Must be able to work in hospital morgue environments
Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
