Unit Asst/Customer Service Liaison - CMH 8C

They are seeking a Customer Service Liaison who will assist the unit nursing leadership team in coordinating activities, promoting a high level of customer experience, and performing administrative duties within the nursing unit.

Hospital & Health Care

Responsibilities

Maintains current knowledge of relevant protocols and procedures regarding the patient experience
Prioritizes and organizes own work based on collaboration with unit leadership team as well as established hospital guidelines, policies and protocols
Effectively validates and coaches staff to meet customer service and quality initiatives
Independently, and in consultation with unit leadership, solves complex problems related to unit operations and customer service events
Utilizes information generated from both computerized and paper systems to analyze trends and develop coordinating interventions and corrective action plans
Exhibits empathy to patients and their families by focusing on patients experience, enabling a meaningful relationship that promotes honest patient feedback
Greets visitors, physicians, patients, and staff in a friendly manner
Answers telephone timely, professionally, identifying unit, name, and title
Uses and is able to trouble-shoot fax machines, printers, and other technology used on nursing unit
Unit Secretary and administrative duties as delegated by the Nurse Manager

Required

Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)
Inpatient hospital work experience
Maintains current knowledge of relevant protocols and procedures regarding the patient experience
