Responsibilities
Perform reviews of basic commercial and residential appraisals, ensuring all appraisals are reviewed for compliance and accuracy
Analyze appraisal methodology for soundness of conclusions
Maintain up to date knowledge of key real estate trends and metrics in the Bank's market areas
Communicate with internal staff & external vendors knowledgeably regarding appraisal methodology related to both commercial and residential valuation issues
Perform internal evaluations on common property types for loan transactions that do not require an appraisal
Responsible for assisting in the engagement of outside firms for appraisals of commercial and residential properties
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 1 year valuation experience or banking experience in mortgage operations or credit analysis preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
