Responsibilities
Provide customer service by greeting and assisting students, staff, visitors, and vendors at the front desk while following Allied Universal post orders and site-specific policies
Monitor access control at the reception area by verifying identification, managing visitor sign-in procedures, issuing temporary badges when directed, and directing guests to appropriate destinations
Answer phones and/or radio calls, relay messages, and coordinate service requests with site contacts while maintaining a professional front desk presence
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities as appropriate and notifying site leadership and/or first responders
Complete required documentation such as activity logs, incident reports, and pass-down notes, and communicate key information to oncoming personnel
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 2+ years of security-related experience is required
21+ years of age is required
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred
Alarm panel experience is preferred
