Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times
Conduct regular and random patrols around the transportation facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment
Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or irregularities encountered during patrols throughout the location
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and reporting unauthorized access attempts
Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site representatives regarding incidents, hazards, or emergencies as required
Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols
Qualification
Required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
