Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and communications location
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, requesting assistance from onsite contacts and/or public responders, and completing required notifications
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including corridors, offices, parking areas, loading and delivery zones, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity
Monitor and operate access control processes including checking identification and/or visitor credentials, verifying authorization, managing visitor logs, and directing people to appropriate destinations in accordance with site procedures
Document patrols, observations, and incidents in daily activity reports and incident reports, communicate noteworthy conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and follow post orders and escalation procedures
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be 21+ years of age
Have security experience of 5+ years
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
