Responsibilities
Assist with journal entries , account coding, and general ledger maintenance
Perform bank reconciliations , account reconciliations, and variance analysis
Support month‑end and year‑end close including accruals and adjusting entries
Maintain accurate financial records following GAAP and internal controls
Support AP/AR teams with invoice coding, payment posting, and cash application when needed
Prepare schedules for internal reporting and external auditors
Assist with expense report review and verification
Collaborate with procurement, finance, and compliance on documentation requirements
Perform data pulls and updates from ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)
Maintain detailed, audit‑ready files in accordance with pharma compliance standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
0-2 years of accounting experience (internships acceptable)
Strong understanding of basic GAAP principles
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced, regulated environment
Preferred
Prior experience in pharma, biotech, medical device, or manufacturing
Exposure to SOX controls or audit processes
Familiarity with expense reporting tools (Concur, Workday, etc.)
