Responsibilities
Measure and inspect jobs according to technical drawings and specifications for dimensional accuracy
Interpret CAD models, blueprints, and GD&T symbols
Program automated inspections to optimize accuracy and efficiency in measurement processes
Record, analyze, and report inspection results, maintaining accurate documentation
Contribute to the improvement of inspection processes to meet the evolving needs of aerospace manufacturing and quality standards
Must contribute to corporate quality policy and objectives
Follow OSHA safety guidelines, and ITAR compliance
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of GD&T and its application in aerospace manufacturing
Ability to use metrology tools and techniques, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Exceptional attention to detail
Personal effectiveness/credibility
Problem solving skills
Effective time management skills
Clear and consistent communication
Verisurf or equivalent software
2+ years of experience operating and programming CMM equipment in a precision manufacturing environment
Knowledge of AS9100 quality standards
High School Diploma or equivalent
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required- No sponsorship offered
Preferred
Additional technical training in metrology or aerospace manufacturing is a plus
