Economic Empowerment Program Manager
Hispanic Federation is the nation's premier Latino nonprofit membership organization focused on supporting Hispanic families and strengthening Latino institutions. They are seeking a motivated Economic Empowerment Program Manager responsible for overseeing the Economic Empowerment programmatic and advocacy efforts to increase the financial security of Latino families.

Responsibilities
Create a calendar of community events and facilitate and oversee community workshops around financial literacy, small business support and other economic empowerment subject matters both in person and virtually
Update and refresh existing material and curricula in a culturally relevant manner that is curated for specific audiences
Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and government agencies to promote community education initiatives
Oversee community programs and events in conjunction with HF internal departments and network of member agencies
Track expenses with designated program budgets, ensure reporting for expenses are up-to-date and accurate with all supporting documentation
Collect and manage data for program outcomes and outputs, support in the drafting of narrative for testimony for public policy or with programmatic fundraising efforts
Support in program administration responsibilities, including leading grantee check-ins, reports and document collection and review, contracting and payment requests
Support economic empowerment initiatives across HF's offices, including working closely with workforce development and digital skilling programs, as well as health, education and community engagement to enact a holistic economic mobility framework
Assist with other Hispanic Federation projects and initiatives as requested
Qualification
Required
Minimum of a BA/BS degree and demonstrated interest in community and economic empowerment work to uplift underserved low-income communities, preferably through financial literacy, small business revitalization, asset building, and/or anti-poverty program management
A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in non-profit program management, community outreach and/or advocacy work
Strong ability to monitor work plans, track expenses, adhere to deadlines, perform tasks for multiple projects and duties simultaneously, and prioritize assignments
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and other relevant software for financial tracking, reporting, and data management
Ideal applicants will be efficient, results-oriented with high energy and exhibit an exceptional ability to work with others
Self-starter with ability to adapt to evolving situations
Strong commitment to Hispanic Federation's mission and core values
Excellent, well-developed verbal and writing skills are essential
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Ability to travel locally
