Associate Engineer
Astrix is a global leader dedicated to helping people see brilliantly, and they are seeking an Associate Engineer to support testing, analysis, and documentation activities for ophthalmic medical devices. This role involves hands-on laboratory testing, data analysis, and ensuring compliance with quality systems under the guidance of senior engineers.

Responsibilities
Perform standardized laboratory testing per SOPs and test methods
Conduct equipment validation (IQ/OQ) and maintain lab equipment
Analyze test data, identify trends/issues, and document results
Write and maintain test protocols, reports, and SOPs
Support investigations, troubleshooting, and basic root cause analysis (CAPA input)
Assist in design and development testing for medical device/packaging systems
Ensure compliance with quality system and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree + 4 years related experience (or equivalent combinations)
Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills
Preferred
Medical device experience
Familiarity with statistical analysis tools
