Responsibilities

Leading agile teams consisting of LM Aero software engineers working on the F-35 Common Reprogramming Tools (CRT) product
Coordinating employee work assignments, program staffing, performance assessment, salary, recruitment, selection and training, and recognition/disciplinary actions
Thinking outside the box and making recommendations and decisions on project schedules to avoid cost overruns and missed scheduled commitments
Applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle and ensuring software standards are met
Exhibiting excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proactive, problem solving, cost conscious and company-focused mindset
Having presentation skills and the proven ability to communicate at all levels (internally/externally) and create/execute a plan in a challenging and quickly changing environment
Driving execution of F-35 software products
Directing execution forecasting
Guiding metrics generation
Maximizing tools, processes and product commonality between Aero programs

Qualification

Required

At least 5 years experience with design, development and/or test of Software Systems
SW estimating experience with LM process experience
Experience with LM Standard Software development processes
Knowledge of DevSecOps Methodologies
Familiar with Software Pipelines and modern software development practices and technologies
Knowledge of Agile Software Development and SCRUM Process
Track record for leading a team to higher levels of performance through evolving tools/methods
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proactive, problem solving, cost conscious and company-focused mindset
Presentation skills and proven ability to communicate at all levels (internally/externally)
Ability to create/execute a plan in a challenging and quickly changing environment
Ability to drive change in an organization by promoting the use of automated toolsets within daily operations
Ability to think outside the box and make recommendations and decisions on project schedules to avoid cost overruns and missed scheduled commitments
Ability to establish and execute a strategic plan to drive execution of F-35 software products
Ability to direct execution forecasting
Ability to guide metrics generation
Ability to maximize tools, processes and product commonality between Aero programs

Preferred

Candidate with at least 3 years experience in technical leadership with increasing responsibility and a minimum of 8 years experience in software design, development, and/or test preferred
