Responsibilities
Reviewing and drafting a variety of agreements, waivers, consents and real estate and finance documents
Conducting legal research using Lexis and/or Westlaw and drafting research memoranda
Working closely with business units to anticipate, identify and manage legal exposure
Reviewing and drafting legal correspondence
Assisting with the management of litigation matters and other claims
Participating in special projects, as requested
Qualification
Required
Strong research, analytical and investigative skills
Ability to conduct legal research using Lexis and/or Westlaw
Ability to document, synthesize and present findings in a clear and concise manner
Excellent proofreading skills and strong attention to detail
Understanding of basic contract concepts and legal terminology
Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude and a desire to learn
Sound judgment and decision-making abilities
Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative environment
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and interests
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
High level of personal integrity and professional ethics
Demonstrated honesty, responsibility and reliability in fulfilling commitments
Must be currently enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school or have graduated from an ABA-accredited law school within the last year
Must be available to work on-site at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center in Renton, WA, no fewer than 40 hours per week during the Seattle Seahawks' 2026 pre-season and regular season. This position is not remote or hybrid
