Performs general clerical duties by preparing, compiling and maintaining records in a hospital nursing unit
Working under the general direction of Nursing and Medical Staff, monitors, evaluates and documents cardiac rhythm readings
Qualification
Required
Basic typing skills
Computer literacy
Knowledge of medical abbreviation and terminology
Effective communication skills
Successful completion of the Basic Dysrhythmia Course and annual competency exam
Demonstrated knowledge of monitoring equipment
Ability to sit for long periods/shift
Direct patient contact for lead placement
High School graduate or equivalent required
Preferred
Basic Arrhythmia Certification preferred
