Responsibilities
Responsible for providing strategic and tactical HR partnership to assigned department managers and staff to create and sustain a workplace culture of engagement and high performance and contribute to the achievement of people- and culture-related business objectives
Maintains an effective level of business literacy about the organization, team members, departments and culture
Qualification
Required
3 years' responsible experience in HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, employee engagement required; experience gained in a health care environment preferred
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Equivalent, comparable experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Valid driver's license
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Outstanding critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills
Able to operate with considerable tact, discretion, and astute judgement
Strong knowledge of federal and state employment-related laws, regulations, and practices required
Preferred
Experience gained in a health care environment
Professional in Human Resources (PHR); Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR); or Strategic HR Business Partner (SHRBP) certification
Knowledge of NJ employment-related law
