Responsibilities

Review and interpret maintenance requests and work orders
Develop detailed work scopes that define labor, materials, tools, and equipment needed for maintenance tasks
Prepare comprehensive job packages (including drawings, specifications, procedures) to support execution
Coordinate job planning to ensure timely and efficient completion
Build and manage work schedules
Use planning software (e.g., SAP, CMMS, Primavera P6, Excel) to assign resources, plan timelines, set critical paths, and monitor progress
Coordinate with maintenance, operations, safety, procurement, and other departments to align scheduled work with production needs
Plan, estimate, and schedule large maintenance outages or turnarounds
Integrate capital project scope and contractor resources into the overall schedule
Evaluate risks, establish critical path milestones, and adjust plans to maintain on-time performance
Monitor schedules during execution and revise plans as needed
Maintain historic records and planning data to improve future planning
Track and report on manpower, materials, costs, and progress
Communicate planning assumptions, risks, and expected outcomes to stakeholders

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent
3 + years experience in refinery maintenance/turnaround or industrial outage execution
Strong working knowledge of refinery equipment, maintenance practices, and industrial safety standards
Experience developing job plans and work packages for mechanical, rotating, fixed, electrical, or instrumentation work
Resource loading and milestone tracking
Total understanding of the Permit to work systems
Must be a team player with the ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals
Ability to clearly communicate (verbal and written via phone, e-mail, etc.)
Willingness to be on call for after-hours & weekend support periodically

Preferred

Bachelor's degree (preferred in an Engineering)
Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or other scheduling tools
