Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automation solutions using Python, PowerShell, and Azure DevOps pipelines

Design and implement processes that support operational activities for the database engineering team

Define, create, and maintain database documentation and metrics related to configuration, performance, and support

Diagnose and resolve highly complex database issues; participate in the team’s on‑call rotation

Research, evaluate, and implement new database technologies; plan and execute database software upgrades

Architect and implement automation for routine DBA tasks to improve efficiency and reliability

Collaborate with application development teams to optimize complex SQL statements and provide specialized database expertise and training

Maintain and tune database systems to ensure high performance, availability, and operational excellence

Required

5+ years with SQL DDL/DML, performance tuning and query optimization, backup and recovery strategies

5+ years with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines

5+ years with Python, PowerShell
