Customer Service Representative/Inside Sales Rep
Steel Dynamics, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join their team. Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer service through timely and professional phone and email communication
Accurately enter and manage customer orders from entry through shipment
Assist customers with product availability, pricing, troubleshooting, and delivery inquiries
Collaborate effectively with the sales team and other departments
Handle challenging customer interactions with professionalism and composure
Understand and apply key business concepts, including freight equalization, pricing models, and internal systems
Qualification
Required
Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational, time management and multitasking skills
Collaborative team player with proactive, solution-oriented mindset
Preferred
Previous Customer Service or related experience
Bachelor's degree
Experience using Salesforce
