Responsibilities
Track, monitor, and report on every phase of the construction process, including general, civil, airfield lighting/signage, airfield pavement marking and drainage
Review plans and specifications to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and project requirements
Conduct inspections of construction work to ensure adherence to quality control standards and project specifications
Monitor progress reports, schedules, and budget to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of the project
Collaborate with project managers, project owner, engineers, contractors, and construction teams to address any issues or concerns
Prepare detailed reports documenting inspection findings, including any non-compliance issues and recommended corrective actions
Maintain accurate records of all inspections, approvals, and certifications
Qualification
Required
Associate degree or equivalent
Minimum of 7 years professional experience in airfield or taxiway inspection experience required
In-depth knowledge of construction practices, techniques, FAA specifications, and regulations
Expertise in general, civil, airfield civil, and airfield electrical construction
Experience in Airport environment related to driving on an active airfield
Valid driver's license in good standing and reliable transportation to job site location
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve construction-related issues
Preferred
NICET certification at Level III or IV or equivalent experience/certification
