Responsibilities
7+ years of experience in technology and data engineering, including architecting, developing, and delivering end‑to‑end scalable data applications and data pipelines
7+ years of hands-on experience with Ab Initio and enterprise-grade ETL development
5+ years of experience designing and implementing data solutions with a focus on CI/CD practices, change management, data security, and audit-compliant processes
Expertise with Ab Initio Co>Op System, GDE, Unix-based systems and shell scripting, and GitHub for version control
Experience working with Autosys for job scheduling and workflow orchestration
Proficiency with Oracle databases and messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka or IBM MQ
Experience using Ab Initio components that integrate with Kafka or other messaging systems
Ability to transform database objects to JSON and build services or processes around semi‑structured data
Proven experience handling large-scale batch data processing, including high-volume datasets
Strong background in performance tuning for batch workflows and ETL pipelines
Experience designing and implementing asynchronous micro‑batching and nonlinear batch processing patterns
