Responsibilities
Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, post orders, and emergency response protocols at a manufacturing and industrial location
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions
Monitor access points and verify identification, visitor logs, deliveries, and contractor check-in procedures in accordance with client policies and Allied Universal guidelines
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; request assistance from site contacts and/or emergency services as needed
Complete detailed shift logs and incident reports, communicate noteworthy information during shift changes, and report maintenance or security-related concerns through the proper channels
Qualification
Required
An EMT Certification is required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet
Customer service experience
A state, county, or city issued security license
