Responsibilities
Develop and own the global audio and digital publishing strategy across audio and ebooks; Full p&l responsibility and budget management
Oversee concept development, programming, and editorial direction for digital and audio projects
Identify new IP, talent partnerships and content opportunities
Manage audio and digital production pipelines, rights clearances and approvals, editorial calendars, and quality standards
Lead workflows across writing, recording, editing, post-production, and digital delivery
Ensure compliance, brand consistency, and platform requirements
Evaluate new platforms and emerging technologies
Drive SEO, discoverability, and metadata optimization
Qualification
Required
10+ years experience in audio and/or digital publishing, music, media, or entertainment content preferred
Proven success managing digital content, launches, or audio production
Demonstrated experience working with creative talent and producers
Executive team and cross-functional team management experience
Some domestic travel may be required
Preferred
Preferred knowledge of copyright, licensing, and business affairs
Thrives in a dynamic environment with a willingness to work across time zones
Mastery in script development, voice talent selection and direction
Robust comprehension of digital distribution platforms and monetization models
Proficient negotiation skills and ability to navigate complex rights/allowances and labor regulations
Solid insight of recording techniques, editing workflow, sound design & mixing, music and content licensing, studio processes and audio mastering standards
