Responsibilities
Identify and acquire new commercial insurance clients through prospecting and networking
Build and manage a pipeline of potential clients; maintain accurate activity records in the CRM
Uncover cross-sell opportunities within your existing client portfolio
Provide expert advice and deliver exceptional service to build long-term client relationships
Partner with account managers to craft and present customized insurance plans
Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and client trust
Consistently meet or exceed individual sales and production goals
Qualification
Required
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
Licensing: Active property and casualty required (or the ability to obtain it prior to starting)
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance sales or a related role
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Knowledge of a wide range of commercial insurance products (e.g., general liability, commercial auto, workers' comp, property, cyber, etc.)
Strong sales, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to assess risk and design complex insurance solutions
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
Proficiency in CRM and agency management systems and adapting to learning new technology (e.g. HawkSoft)
