Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP
Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations
Assist in the budgeting process by providing insights and forecasts based on historical data
Conduct thorough general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
Support payroll processing by ensuring accurate recording of employee hours and deductions
Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for financial reporting
Maintain organized documentation for all accounting transactions and audits
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage Intacct or similar applications
Experience using Service Titan or similar home services software
Strong knowledge of budgeting processes and financial forecasting techniques
Experience with general ledger reconciliation and journal entries
Familiarity with GAAP standards and regulations
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
General ledger accounting: 5 years
Forecasting: 5 years

Ability to Relocate: Arlington Heights, IL 60004: Relocate before starting work
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
Experience using Service Titan or similar home services software is preferred
