Responsibilities
Lead and execute the wholesale sales strategy for handbags, driving revenue growth across major department store accounts including Nordstrom, Macy’s, and Dillard’s
Own senior-level relationships with buyers and merchant teams, negotiating assortments, pricing, and seasonal strategies
Partner cross-functionally with merchandising, design, planning, and production to ensure product alignment with account needs and market trends
Analyze sell-through, inventory, and margin performance to optimize assortments and forecast future growth opportunities
Manage and mentor the sales team, setting clear goals, KPIs, and accountability to consistently exceed targets
Qualification
Required
10+ years of wholesale sales experience within accessories or handbags, with direct ownership of Nordstrom, Macy's, and Dillard's accounts
Proven track record of driving profitable growth and expanding distribution within department store channels
Deep understanding of handbag assortments, pricing architecture, promotional cadence, and market trends
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable sales and assortment strategies
Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
