They are seeking an SQL Developer to work in a highly transactional environment, focusing on building and supporting SQL code and structures while collaborating with project management and developers.

E-Commerce

Responsibilities

Work with developers and project management in a highly transactional OLTP environment to build new and support existing SQL code, structures, and data
Evaluate and performance tune existing procedures and data
Analyze business needs and software requirements to help determine feasibility of work within time and resource constraints
Project life cycle involvement – planning, estimates, documentation, development, testing and deployment

Qualification

MS SQL Server 2016+SQL Structures DesignPerformance TuningDatabase Design PrinciplesData ModelingSQL Server Management StudioSQL Server Integration ServicesAzure Data FactoryXMLJSONMS ExcelTableau

Required

3-4 years of recent experience with MS SQL Server 2016+, preferably in an e-commerce environment
Experience with designing SQL Structures and procedures to support highly transactional applications
Experience fine-tuning SQL functions and stored procedures called hundreds or thousands of times per minute
Deep understanding of database design principles
Experience with Data modeling
Creating tables for relational data, views, stored procedures, and indexes

Preferred

Microsoft SQL Server
SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and Azure Data Factory
SQL Profiler, Performance Monitor, and other related tools
XML, JSON, MS Excel, MS SQL Server, and Tableau
