Head of Sales

They are seeking a strategic, hands-on Head of Sales to lead their go-to-market efforts, build scalable sales infrastructure, and drive demand generation across their service lines.

Responsibilities

Analyze market trends and client needs to shape DWC’s go-to-market strategy
Identify gaps in the marketplace and recommend new service offerings
Collaborate with leadership to refine product-market fit and messaging
Lead, mentor, and monitor a high-performing sales team
Conduct coaching sessions to ensure messaging consistency and consultative selling
Set and track quota targets, pipeline metrics, and performance benchmarks
Build and implement annual sales plans aligned with company goals
Design and implement scalable sales processes, tools, and reporting systems
Create organizational structure to support growth and cross-functional collaboration
Partner with marketing to drive demand generation and lead nurturing strategies
Cultivate relationships with financial advisors, plan sponsors, and strategic partners
Represent DWC at industry events, webinars, and networking forums
Lead complex sales cycles involving plan design, compliance, and consulting services

Required

7–10 years of sales leadership experience in the TPA industry
Proven success in building and scaling sales teams and infrastructure
Deep understanding of ERISA, 401(k), 403(b), and other qualified retirement plans
Experience shaping go-to-market strategies and launching new offerings
Strong analytical, communication, and coaching skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and accountability
Bachelor's degree required; industry credentials (e.g., ASPPA, NIPA) a plus
