12+ years expQualis1 Inc. is seeking an experienced Lead Performance Engineer / Architect to design, execute, and continuously improve performance testing strategies for large-scale enterprise and cloud-based applications. This role involves collaboration with Development, QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams to ensure applications are scalable, reliable, and high-performing.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain performance test scripts using tools such as Apache JMeter, LoadRunner, K6, and Gatling
Conduct load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing for web applications, APIs, microservices, and backend systems
Perform API performance testing (REST/JSON, SOAP) and integrate with automation frameworks
Design and maintain automated test suites for Next.js applications (Unit, Integration, E2E)
Analyze performance test results and identify application and infrastructure bottlenecks
Monitor system metrics during testing (CPU, memory, GC, I/O, network)
Use monitoring/APM tools such as Datadog and Dynatrace to correlate test results with system behavior
Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines
Prepare and present performance reports, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders
Continuously improve performance frameworks, tools, and best practices
Qualification
Required
12+ years of experience in Performance Engineering

Leadership mindset with the ability to guide teams on performance best practices
Ownership-driven and quality-focused approach
Preferred
AWS cloud environments
Kubernetes & Docker (collaboration level)
Infrastructure performance tuning
Understanding of SRE concepts (SLIs, SLOs, SLAs)
