Contractor Logistics Planning Engineer [FTC]
Toyota SA is seeking a Contractor Logistics Planning Engineer to work on the Service Parts Prep Project within the New Model Projects and Master data Area. The role focuses on data analysis, project management, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiencies in service parts preparation.

Responsibilities
Data Analysis and Data interpretation
Ability to manage and execute a project successfully/Project planning
Audit existing SOPs with a view to continuously improve efficiencies
Development of functional specifications to support improvement ideas
Create presentation and reports to communicate project status
Data Collection, Analysis, and Visualisation
Investigating processes, procedures, and methods to improve efficiency and effectiveness of supplier
Ability to manage suppliers
Effectively drive continuous improvement projects using Engineering principles
Working on various deliverables simultaneously
Qualification
Required
NQF level 6 (360 credits on level 8 framework) – Industrial Engineering/Data Engineering or related
Minimum 3 years' experience in Project Management / Data Analysis
SAP and BI-reporting knowledge is an advantage
Microsoft Power BI reporting background
Microsoft office and big data tools
Data set up and analytics knowledge (data processing, develop reports and analysis, training end users)
Must be able to manage multiple projects
Ability to work with various stakeholders
Excellent Written and verbal Communication Skills
Ability to work in a team environment
A proactive, flexible, self-starter with the ability to work under pressure
