Responsibilities
Take ownership of research and development projects in the area of membranes, with the goal of overseeing, innovating and improving R&D processes, pilot equipment operation, and work with other engineers and scientists to scale-up operations
Time management and project management are critical to report progress and accomplish goals on time
Ensure adequate support is offered to scientists to provide them with equipment and processes to ensure manufacturability
Assist with membrane development projects. All work involved will have a sustained and constant focus on the technology transfer of R&D activities to manufacturing
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field with relevant experience (minimum of 3-5 years' experience) in a related technical field or industry
Hands-on experience in development projects and in fast paced environments, with a proven track record of performance and meeting deadlines and deliverables
Self-driven, collaborative, and motivated to learn
Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective inter departmental collaborations with Engineering, Machine Shop, Product Management and Lab Services, as well as outside firms
