Technical System Analyst

PDS is seeking a Technical Systems Analyst to join their agile technology team within a complex enterprise environment. The role involves leading application integration initiatives and collaborating with business and technical teams to capture capability needs and outcomes.

Responsibilities

Serve as the Technical Systems Analyst on agile software development projects
Lead planning, analysis, design, documentation, and implementation of application integration initiatives
Facilitate discussions with business and technical teams to capture capability needs and outcomes
Manage requirements flow from backlog through planning, partnering closely with the Product Owner
Define acceptance criteria and support test case creation
Prepare materials for successful sprint planning and backlog prioritization
Lead troubleshooting efforts and help identify root cause issues
Develop or oversee the creation of solution architecture models and documentation
Coordinate technical activities including design reviews and defect resolution
Collaborate with the architecture community to maintain alignment with IT standards
Support executive‑level presentations and partner with third‑party vendors as needed

Required

3+ years working with Agile methodologies, ideally within banking or financial services
Strong understanding of integration patterns including REST/JSON web services, batch, publish/subscribe, APIs
Background in enterprise application integration, middleware, data migrations/conversions, backend interfaces, and database technologies
Hands-on experience in application development, architecture, and software maintenance
Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work across all organizational levels
Demonstrated leadership, facilitation, and negotiation abilities
Strong analytical background with Agile project experience
Enterprise integration, middleware, and system interface expertise
Experience working in large-scale IT environments
Strong problem-solving abilities with 'outside-the-box' thinking
Deep understanding of SDLC (legacy + modern approaches)
Strong organizational and project/program management skills
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint
Skilled in Azure DevOps for Agile sprint planning
SQL experience
Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
Highly organized self-starter with strong ownership and innovation
Comfortable interfacing with senior executives

Preferred

Financial services industry background
Experience working with third-party vendors
Multi-component, high-availability systems experience
nCino implementation experience
Salesforce configuration/data model knowledge
