Sr. Manager, Supply Distribution & Inventory

Responsibilities
Provides strategic, operational, and people leadership for hospital-wide supply distribution, inventory management, and point-of-use operations
Ensures high availability of critical supplies and equipment, optimizing inventory investment, improving service reliability, and supporting safe, high-quality patient care across all clinical service lines
Partners closely with executive leadership, clinical stakeholders, and system supply chain teams to execute enterprise supply chain strategies, drive performance improvement, and advance Grady Health System’s goals related to cost stewardship and supply chain resilience
Operates within a high-reliability, data-driven model, leveraging ERP platforms, inventory management systems, and LEAN methodologies to drive continuous improvement in service, cost, and reliability
Develops enterprise leadership capability preparing the incumbent to assume expanded, system-level responsibility for supply chain performance and transformation as the organization grows
Qualification
Required
Strategic, operational, and people leadership experience in supply distribution and inventory management
Experience with Central Storeroom, Mobile Medical Equipment (MME), and clinical supply distribution functions
Ability to ensure high availability of critical supplies and equipment
Experience in optimizing inventory investment and improving service reliability
Ability to support safe, high-quality patient care across all clinical service lines
Experience partnering with executive leadership, clinical stakeholders, and system supply chain teams
Ability to execute enterprise supply chain strategies and drive performance improvement
Experience with ERP platforms and inventory management systems
Knowledge of LEAN methodologies for continuous improvement
Capability to develop enterprise leadership and prepare for expanded system-level responsibilities
