Responsibilities
Track, record, and maintain accurate inventory of IT assets (hardware, software, peripherals, and GFP)
Manage asset lifecycle from procurement and receipt through deployment, transfer, and disposal
Update asset records in asset management systems and ensure data accuracy
Perform routine physical inventories and reconciliation of asset records
Label, tag, and document assets in accordance with policy and contract requirements
Assist users with asset-related requests, including new equipment, replacements, and returns
Support basic system administration tasks related to asset tracking tools and databases
Troubleshoot basic issues with asset management systems and escalate as needed
Maintain records to meet audit, cybersecurity, and contractual compliance standards
Assist with audits, inspections, and reporting for government or corporate stakeholders
Ensure proper handling and documentation of sensitive or controlled equipment
Follow standardized procedures for asset intake, deployment, and retirement
Identify gaps or discrepancies and recommend process improvements
Coordinate with IT, procurement, logistics, and security teams to ensure accurate asset flow
Qualification
Required
A Security+/SecurityX, CASP, or equivalent DoD 8570.01 IAT-2 or IAT-3 certification is required
Full Secret security clearance
Associate's degree in Information Technology, Business, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
0-2 years of experience in IT support, system administration, logistics, or asset management
