Business Development Manager
Catalyst Workplace Activation is a leading provider of furniture and design solutions, and they are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales and market share. The role involves building a service and growth strategy for existing accounts while originating new business opportunities, serving as a trusted advisor, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities
Drive business development, revenue, and margin growth with new and existing customers
Build and maintain comprehensive understanding of customer's corporate goals, business practices, and key performance indicators
Foster productive business relationships and strengthen ties with industry partners
Work with customer support to provide timely responses to customer requests for products, services, and/or information
Model expert prospecting skills to identify opportunities with both new and existing customers
Manage a focused, up-to-date business plan
Clearly articulate Catalyst’s healthcare expertise and differentiators
Close business from both new and existing customers
Annual sales expectation of +$4M-$6M
Track all leads, prospects, and customer opportunities in CRM
Maintain profitable customer relationships and manage contract terms & conditions
Negotiate contracts, pricing and discounts
Provide accurate sales forecasts and projections
Meet or exceed sales targets determined by Sales Leadership
Work cooperatively with internal and external team members; including interface with Catalyst teams, MillerKnoll, other manufacturers, subcontractors, etc
Attend all internal sales and team meetings
Participate as a positive team member with all Catalyst personnel
Model and practice Catalyst values
Qualification

successful sales: 3 years (Required)
Preferred
Four-year college degree preferred
Three to five years of successful sales experience with a background in furniture, construction, architecture or Project Management
