Group Controller

CTW Cayman is a Nasdaq-listed global gaming platform company focused on delivering anime IP-based HTML5 games. The Group Controller leads global accounting operations and consolidation, overseeing accounting policy governance and compliance in financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Own and direct the monthly, quarterly, and annual global close in accordance with U.S. GAAP, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
Oversee group-wide consolidation including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translations, and VIE consolidations
Review, approve, and ensure proper documentation of all significant journal entries, reconciliations, and close schedules
Design, implement, and maintain SOX-compliant internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR), including ongoing documentation and remediation
Serve as the primary contact with external auditors, managing interim reviews, annual audits, and supporting all audit-related requests and walkthroughs

Required

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
10+ years of accounting experience, including Big 4 or top-tier public accounting firm background
Strong expertise in U.S. GAAP, group consolidation, and SOX frameworks
Proven experience in global, multi-currency, multi-jurisdiction environments
Successful track record in a fast-paced public company, preferably post-IPO

Preferred

Experience leading accounting operations for a Nasdaq-listed company
Advanced knowledge of ERP and consolidation systems
Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and automation within finance functions
