Responsibilities

Analyze and audit several $100 million in flying spend, in full alignment with governance, risk, and compliance processes

Oversee all air carrier contract drafting, approvals, and related questions, acting as the source of truth on all commercial matters

Partner with key stakeholders to lead, support, and influence across Amazon Air to enhance air carrier performance and lower cost-to-serve

Build strong partnerships with air carriers on commercial, operational, technical, and sustainability initiatives to identify and eliminate constraints

Advise and communicate clearly to senior leadership on air carrier costs and commercial dispute resolutions

Navigate through ambiguity to manage and deliver results on multiple commercial subjects simultaneously

Required

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field

7+ years of working with external suppliers experience

7+ years of negotiations/cost savings, supplier excellence, and risk mitigation experience

7+ years of developing diverse supplier strategies and executing on sourcing activities experience

Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred

Master's degree, or Master's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field

4+ years of international airline or logistics experience
