Responsibilities
Provide technical support for the NOES APL process
Responsible for regular reporting of NOES APL performance to Technology Manager
Work directly with NOES APL Operations team to support improvement initiatives
Perform in-depth analysis and investigations of NOES APL performance
Develop and implement special/improved inspection and testing methods
Drive functionality and performance improvements of process models/control systems (Furnace thermal model, Pickling model, etc.)

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering field
3+ years of experience in furnace technology and pickling
5+ years of industrial experience
Demonstrated understanding of control systems, instrumentation, process models (Process Management fundamentals)
Experience in NOES – Non-Oriented Electrical Steels product and Annealing Pickling line (APL)
Demonstrates strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Basic understanding of heat and mass transfer, combustion, chemical reactions, and equilibrium (chemistry and chemical engineering fundamentals)
Strong Teamwork and a hands-on working approach
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to develop and deliver technical presentations to senior management
Preferred
Background in all major steel mill processes and products preferred, with in-depth knowledge of finishing processes and technology
