Responsibilities
Translate scientific concepts, findings, and product innovations into clear, engaging content tailored for diverse audiences and distribution channels
Synthesize peer-reviewed literature and internal analyses into evidence-based narratives aligned with WHOOP’s brand voice and scientific integrity
Analyze complex datasets to extract insights that support health- and performance-focused communications
Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to ensure scientific accuracy, appropriate sourcing, and effective positioning
Support scientific publishing efforts, including manuscript drafting, editing, and submission coordination
Partner with design and multimedia teams to enhance scientific storytelling through data-driven visuals and creative assets
Qualification
Required
Master's degree or Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline such as physiology, exercise physiology, psycho-physiology, or biomedical science
Proven experience translating scientific research and data into compelling, accessible content for broad audiences
Demonstrated experience working with complex datasets, with proficiency in SQL and R or Python for data analysis and visualization
Strong research skills with the ability to critically evaluate and synthesize peer-reviewed literature
Experience contributing to or supporting peer-reviewed publications and manuscript development
Familiarity with content management systems, digital publishing platforms, and SEO best practices
Experience in health, fitness, performance, or wearable technology sectors
Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions
