Manager of Events
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Foundation is seeking an experienced and strategic Manager of Events to lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of high-profile fundraising and community engagement events. This role owns the full event lifecycle and serves as the primary point of accountability for assigned events, working cross-functionally with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Lead planning and execution of major fundraising and community events
Develop and manage annual event calendars, budgets, timelines, and logistics
Serve as primary vendor, venue, and partner lead, including RFPs and negotiations
Support sponsorship fulfillment, in-kind donations, and donor engagement
Track fundraising performance, KPIs, and ROI; deliver post-event reporting
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional donor and guest experience
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field
4–6 years of experience managing nonprofit, fundraising, or large-scale events
Demonstrated experience with event budgets and financial tracking
Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills
Professional, polished presence in donor- and public-facing environments
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Preferred
Experience with GiveSmart, Salesforce, or similar donor/event platforms
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
