Mid LevelLockheed Martin is seeking an experienced System Administrator to support the Space Fence radar operations site located at Sensor Site 1 on Kwajalein Atoll. The role involves mission operations, computer maintenance, managing communications equipment, and providing engineering services support at the radar sensor site.

Responsibilities
Performing mission operations, computer maintenance and reconfiguration on Digital Processing Group and Mission Subsystem
Managing communications equipment
Network administration
Information assurance
Data recording/data management
Cross-training with radar technicians to perform maintenance on array equipment
Supplementing critical radar corrective maintenance actions/requirements
Providing a continuous level of engineering services support at the Space Fence radar sensor site
Maintaining effective customer communications and relations
Providing onsite training of customer support personnel
Assisting in arranging for services of outside vendors
Understanding the required supplies and repair parts needed to maintain radar system performance
Working with Logistics personnel to order parts as needed
Supporting all trades in their related job duties
Responding to emergency maintenance requests as required
Performing a variety of work in the maintenance and repair of site equipment as needed
Validating technical maintenance work packages on site equipment to support technical manuals updates
Qualification
Required
Experienced System Administrator to support the Space fence radar operations site
Performing mission operations, computer maintenance and reconfiguration on Digital Processing Group and Mission Subsystem
Managing communications equipment, network administration, information assurance, data recording/data management
Cross-training with radar technicians to perform maintenance on array equipment
Supplementing critical radar corrective maintenance actions/requirements
Providing a continuous level of engineering services support at the Space Fence radar sensor site
Maintaining effective customer communications and relations
Providing onsite training of customer support personnel
Assisting in arranging for services of outside vendors
Understanding the required supplies and repair parts needed to maintain radar system performance
Working with Logistics personnel to order parts as needed
Supporting all trades in their related job duties
Responding to emergency maintenance requests as required
Performing a variety of work in the maintenance and repair of site equipment as needed

Capable of working within a small group of highly motivated and trained professionals
Preferred
Demonstrated experience with the management of electronic communications equipment
Familiarity with Space Operations and/or Radar Operations in a military/civilian environment
Facility maintenance activities, electronic controls, electrical, IT and computer hardware a plus
