Responsibilities
Apply fertilizer, weed control, and pesticide treatments to lawns, trees, and shrubs
Inspect lawns and landscapes to identify, diagnose, and correct problem conditions
Perform all applications safely and in compliance with Massachusetts regulations and company standards
Operate application equipment, trucks, and trailers safely and professionally
Communicate findings, concerns, and recommendations to customers and office staff
Build strong customer relationships through professionalism and clear communication
Accurately record daily work activity using company-provided tablet/software
Be available for peak-season weekends and rain make-up days as needed
Lawn fertilization and weed control
Lawn and ornamental fungicide applications
Tree and shrub fertilization and pest management
Tick and flea control
Mosquito mist treatments
Moisture management applications
Weed control in planting beds
Core aeration and overseeding
Qualification
Required
Massachusetts Pesticide Applicator License (required)
Commitment to maintaining required continuing education credits
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Working knowledge of lawn care and landscape equipment
Comfortable working independently and outdoors in all weather conditions
Punctual, professional, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
