Operations Business Manager
General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) is a world leader in remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars. They are seeking an Operations Business Manager to lead and manage projects within the Operations Business Management team, ensuring alignment of business processes with strategic goals to improve overall performance.

Responsibilities
Coordinate departmental and/or cross-functional teams to assign and prioritize tasks focused on delivering new or upgrading existing products and/or services
Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to team members working on assigned project
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely fashion
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a Bachelors in Business Administration or related discipline and nine or more years of progressively complex experience in the project administration field with at least three of those years in project management. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education
Must have a thorough understanding of project management processes and procedures, planning and scheduling methods, and budget management as well as the ability to organize, schedule, and coordinate workloads to meet established milestones and budgets
Must possess the ability to initiate, plan and manage projects
The ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret data and develop solutions to a wide range of complex issues
Strong communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance required
Must be able to work extended hours and travel as required
Preferred
Knowledge of GA-ASI organizations, processes, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, and products preferred
Strong proficiency with SAP (including PACE and HULK) preferred
Strong Operations financial background preferred
Project Planner, Project Control Analyst (PCA), or Project Management background preferred. Including project management best practices, business processes, and business systems
Program management in a manufacturing and flight line environment experience preferred
Production Control or Engineering Manufacturing Liaison experience is a plus
