Residential Deputy Director
Columbus Community Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of individuals with disabilities. The Residential Deputy Director is responsible for assisting in the operation of residential programs, focusing on quality control and staff training, while conducting inspections and providing support to Residential Managers.

Responsibilities
Train new Residential Managers
Conduct regular site inspections and spot checks and report back to Director of residential services for follow-up
Follow up to ensure training for Direct Service Professional staff is being completed
Audits and reviews of client payee, home account cash and other client account
Relationship with nutritionists and collects menus for review
Conduct monthly BASSPID report for each residential program
Trains managers on technical and interpersonal issues
Quarterly review of client grocery purchases and receipts
Reviews monthly summary and quarterly reports from Managers
Assists Residential Director to resolve any payroll problems identified or communicated from finance
Ensure that new employees are paid for initial training and current employees are paid for training not captured by time clock
Assist Residential Director to build list of tasks that must be completed on a monthly basis including medical appointments (Monthly Guide)
Collect medical mileage forms from Managers, review and turn in to accounting
Monitors and submits attendance of clients for billing purposes
Conducts scheduled and unscheduled residential site visits at least two times weekly
Attends Residential Manager meetings and conducts these meetings in the absence of the Residential Director
Reviews Therap t-log entries, reviews GER (incident reports), gives feedback to Managers on site management as well as DSP's inappropriate entries
Monitors Therap client file, pulls PCSP's from USTEPS for Managers as requested
Trains Residential Managers to do administrative tasks to include PCSP’s, quarterly reports, payee responsibilities and other administrative tasks
Attend PCSP meetings on an as needed basis
Fill in at residential locations if needed
Team Building: Review quality performance outcomes of residential programs with the Residential Director so that team performance can be improved and staff training be updated as needed. Ensure the team has access to the knowledge and skills needed to do the work
Qualification
Required
Three to five years of progressive more complex responsible in delivery of social services, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required
Must be at least 18 years old
Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record
Must pass an initial criminal background and then annually thereafter
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study is preferred
