Responsibilities
Negotiate SCAs with behavioral health facilities and providers to address urgent or unique member needs
Establish and maintain provider relationships that support Evernorth’s national network strategy and fill identified network gaps
Initiate and sustain effective communication channels with matrix partners, including Claims Operations, Clinical Operations, Provider Relations, Behavioral Finance, Compliance, Sales, and Marketing
Analyze financial and operational impact of proposed agreements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and cost containment strategies
Draft and finalize contracting agreements that align with internal operational standards and meet external provider expectations
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in provider contracting, network development, or behavioral health operations
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required
Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to assess complex scenarios and develop strategic solutions
Ability to manage high volumes of requests with attention to detail and timeliness
Excellent communication skills- written, verbal, and presentation
Proven ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams
Knowledge of policy/procedures, behavioral operations and supporting operating systems
Preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel strongly preferred
