Loss Mitigation Specialist
Suna Solutions is seeking a Loss Mitigation Intake Coordinator to support a high-volume mortgage servicing environment. This role is responsible for managing the initial intake and review of customer loss mitigation applications, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with applicable investor and regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities
Request, collect, and review financial and supporting documentation for loss mitigation applications
Ensure loan workout packages are complete and submitted within required timeframes
Enter and upload documents into the BLITZ/AIQ system
Follow up on missing or outstanding documentation to support timely decisioning
Provide professional customer service and guide customers through the loss mitigation intake process
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and documentation
Ensure compliance with investor, insurer, state, federal, and CFPB guidelines
Prevent foreclosure activity while applications are under active review
Communicate effectively with internal teams and escalate issues as needed
Assist with front desk duties, including bulk and special mailings
Update internal tracking systems and perform other assigned duties
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 1 year of experience in loss mitigation, mortgage servicing, or a related field
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred
Proficiency with document management systems preferred
