New GradHigh Liner Foods is seeking a dynamic and motivated Engineering Co-op Student to join their team for the Summer term. This role focuses on data collection, creating standard work procedures, and supporting various engineering initiatives, providing students with hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with maintenance, production, quality, and engineering teams to collect data and create standard work procedures for equipment, processes, and product lines
Occasionally work on various shifts to collect all relevant data
Analyze and interpret data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various equipment and processes
Assist in the planning and execution of engineering projects, including process optimization and equipment upgrades
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Program, or a recent graduate pursuing hands-on industry experience
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams (maintenance, production, quality, and engineering)
Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to ask questions and share findings
Analytical and detail-oriented mindset with the ability to gather, interpret, and draw insights from data
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a willingness to think critically about processes and improvements
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and adaptable to changing priorities
Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., Excel, Word); experience with data or process documentation tools is an asset
